The European Geosciences Union General Assembly 2025 is set to take place from April 27 to May 2 at the Austria Center in Vienna, Austria, with options for online participation.
This annual event brings together geoscientists from around the globe, covering all disciplines of Earth, planetary, and space sciences. The conference will serve as a platform for scientists – with a particular regard for early career researchers – to present their work and engage in discussions with experts across various geoscience fields.
Among the presentations at EGU, there also will be DTWO, presented by Professor Xiaoli Guo Larsén from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and coordinator of the project.
In addition to Xiaoli Guo Larsén herself, the paper was co-authored by Wim Munters, Antonino Bonanni, Karolina Jurak, Pedro Santos, Julia Walgern, Kaushik Das, Chiara Palazzetti, Bogdan Wiszniewski, Kaya Dag, Natalie Theeuwes and Palmira Cortes. The inclusion of the DTWO project in the EGU General Assembly underscores the conference’s commitment in the showcasing of cutting-edge research and technological advancements in geosciences.

DTWO at WindEurope 2025: championing innovation in offshore wind
DTWO partner DHI, represented by Pedro Santos, took part in WindEurope 2025 held in Copenhagen, Denmark, from 8 to 10 April. Pedro Santos, Global Research & Innovation Lead for DHI’s Energy and Water Resources Global Business Unit, brings 14 years of experience in the wind energy sector and is a key expert in the field.
